Salary: 27,285 GBP – 31,604 GBP

Location: Nottingham Trent University (NTU), Nottingham, UK

Expected job starting date: 1st November 2018 if work permit is not required, or 7th January 2019 if work permit is required

This is will be a full time post for two years.

The post holder will conduct research in the area of mobile computing and software development and is expected to have the following knowledge and experience:

  • processing mobile data and interacting with external data services;

  • development of database stored in mobile phones;

  • programming with mobile phone platforms such as iOS or Android;

  • programming in Java;

  • software development for communication with barcode, RFID, and QR;

  • preferable to have experience of publishing applications in App market, and online data scrappy and data mining.

The post will be based at Nottingham Trent University and work for the CIRC4Life project supported by the European Commission’s H2020 programme, consisting of 17 partners across 8 EU countries with Nottingham Trent University as the lead partner.
